Okay, I may have discovered a product that could possibly help in getting rid of brown spots (also called age spots or sun spots).
This is one thing I have not been able to eliminate with the skin care products that I’ve used and reviewed here on my blog.
Great as they are for anti-aging (Green Cream, Avene Retrinal, etc.), I have yet to find a product for removing these brown spots.
I’m going to give Civant’s Meladerm cream a try as it looks very promising.
Meladerm cream is a natural skin lightening product for fading age spots, sun damage, skin discolorations and hyperpigmentation.
Why Meladerm cream?
Customer feedbacks are mostly positive (in and outside the official site), a great sign.
No hydroquinone, mercury, steroids, or other harmful bleaching substances.
Most of the active ingredients in the formula are derived from natural extracts such as Mulberry, Licorice and Bearberry plants.
Meladerm cream can be safely used on the face and body for specific areas such as:
- Hyperpigmentation / Dark discolorations
- Age / Liver spots / Sun spots
- Freckles
- Tans / Sun damage
- Melasma / Chloasma
- Acne marks
- Old scars
- Birthmarks
- Dark elbows, knees, underarms, knuckles
- Uneven skin tones
Meladerm cream works or your money back
Best of all, the company offers a money-back guarantee for 30 days. If at any time you’re not 100% satisfied with Meladerm cream, used or unused, they will honor their return policy and you get your money back. Yep, even if the bottle is empty!

This is so cool! I get to use Meladerm cream for 30 days risk-free so I don’t have anything to lose by trying it, probably just these pesky brown spots on my face! Crossing my fingers.
So I am planning on sharing my findings with this product and will continue to update this post. Bookmark this page if you want to see how I’m doing with Meladerm cream. I’ve never used this product before so hopefully it will work out for me. I’m so excited!
I will be ordering the Meladerm cream very soon so you should see an update on here not too far off.
See you soon!
Update: (May 1, 2011)
I have received my Meladerm cream! I will use it for the first time today. Directions state to use twice daily on affected areas, once in the morning and once at night.
Since the product contains AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acid), it’s best to use this alongside a sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher. So I’m gonna follow this and will make an update once I start to see any changes, for better or worse.

I’m glad I found your blog. I also have those ugly brown spots and would like to know too if the Meladerm cream works on them.
Please update soon.
Oh and please visit my blog on Barska Biometric safe. Sorry, I know it has nothing to do with Meladerm cream but I thought I would share! Peace!
Hi Jay,
No, that’s okay, I don’t mind you posting your blog. I do moderate the comments section and filter out the spammy ones.
I’ve ordered the Meladerm cream a few days ago, haven’t received it. But I will definitely update my post once I get that in.
Thanks for commenting!
