Whoopee! Another excellent Retin-A-like skin care product that has also proven itself to users who have used it and were delighted to see favorable results.
Don’t we all just love a product that actually delivers what it promises?
I also got in on the Avene Retrinal bandwagon and reached out for my ever handy credit card to get a tube of this Retinaldehyde based cream to see for myself what the buzz is about.
By the way that was two months ago, I wanted to wait at least this long so that I could offer a substantive, unbiased review of Avene Retrinal without shame (who, me?)

My experience with Avene Retrinal
I noticed within the first several nights of usage that I didn’t experienced any issues with it.
My face was not irritated in the least bit and I was using the highest available concentration of 0.1% (a lower strength of 0.05% Avene Retrinal is also available).
I found this surprising since I usually get some redness and a slight burning sensation when trying out a new skin care product, especially those with Vitamin A-derived ingredients. But hey, I’m not complaining!
Using a similar product may have dried my skin just a little, but the Avene Retrinal seems to be a rather perfect alternative as it gives my skin looking moisturized and supple without having to actually use a face moisturizer.
In fact, I’ve been using it almost every evening and haven’t had the need to apply any regular moisturizer.
Even though I have not been fully acquainted with the Avene Retrinal as having only use it for a couple of months, I can see myself having a continued, happy relationship with it as I am confident that I will soon enough reap the benefits other people have been talking about.
